Fairly common in Eilat in spring. The brown version is typically 1-1.5 cm (maximum 3 cm specimen observed). A larger reddish variation has been observed several times at night in spring, on the Village Beach rubble slope. According to Dr. Bill Rudman, the very large individual in the 5th photo (8 cm long) may have survived the winter and continued growing.
